Once Upon a Read-a-Thon Goals

Once Upon a Read-a-Thon

I love Read-a-Thons because I always have a stack of a few hundred books I need to get through. Plus all of my ebooks and ARC's.

My goals:
1. Finish Mira Grant's Newsflesh Trilogy. I need to finish book 2- Deadline- I'm about 2/3 of the way through. And I need to read the final book, Blackout. If you haven't started this series and you love zombies- what are you waiting for?
2. Read an ARC I got through NetGalley. I think it's going to be this one:

I know it doesn't seem like much- my goal is only 2 1/3 books- but it is about 1,000 pages. And I have to work every day of the Read-a-Thon.

  1. If only I had the patience to get through a Read-a-Thon. Sigh. I read in spurts and burst, and unfortunately, the TBR stack is getting higher and higher everyday.

    Good luck!

    1. I know what you mean. My kids are home in the summer and I feel like I'm always having to put the book down to deal with them. They're at the point in summer vacation where they are getting bored and restless. Plus they're getting on each other's nerves.

  2. I always have a HUGE stack of books to get through too. I'm hoping to devour a decent portion of mine and get a lot of reviews done, I want to be ahead again. Good luck with your goals and happy reading!

    1. I'm having a hard time keeping up with reviews. I think I'm about 5-7 behind.

  3. I love incentives to read more. It's just that in summer I'm trying to catch up with all the books I put off in spring, then in spring I'm trying to sort out what I didn't read in fall . . . and you can see where this leads. It's infinite. Good luck with your goals.

I stopped in from Book Blogs to join your site and say hi. I blog at http://writegame.blogspot.com Hope to see you there.
